The G.I.'s New Name

In World War I, American soldiers were called "Doughboys."

In World War II, they were called "G.I.'s"

In Korea, they were called 'Policemen."

In Vietnam, they were called "Advisers."

In the Gulf, they were called "Heroes."

Today, in the war against the Taliban, they are called 'Tali-Whackers."
